Playing Two (2) Doubles <strong>Tour</strong>naments in One (1) WeekA player is not allowed to compete in doubles in two (2)<strong>Tour</strong>naments held in the same week, at which ranking points areawarded. If a player does play two (2) doubles <strong>Tour</strong>naments in one(1) week, upon the first occurrence, the player will receive the lesserof the ranking points earned from the two (2) <strong>Tour</strong>naments.Upon the second and subsequent occurrences, the player will notbe awarded any ranking points, and she will be subject to a fine.g. Playing Singles/Doubles the Same Week in Different <strong>Tour</strong>namentsA player is allowed to play singles in one (1) <strong>Tour</strong>nament and doublesin another <strong>Tour</strong>nament played the same week, provided theplayer has been eliminated from one (1) <strong>Tour</strong>nament prior to playingin the other <strong>Tour</strong>nament. A player may not participate in both<strong>Tour</strong>naments at the same time.For the purposes of the Age Eligibility Rule, each <strong>Tour</strong>nament inwhich a player earns ranking points will count towards her allotmentof <strong>Tour</strong>naments under the Age Eligibility Rule.20. Qualifying Alternate List Freeze Deadline<strong>The</strong> Qualifying Alternate Next In List will be frozen at 2:00 p.m. EasternTime (New York, USA Time) on the day prior to the Qualifying Sign-In(the “Qualifying Freeze Deadline”). After the Qualifying Freeze Deadline,no more Alternates will be moved into the Qualifying Draw and suchalternate players are no longer committed to play the <strong>Tour</strong>nament.Players on the Alternate List can preserve their eligibility for possibleQualifying Draw positions by signing in with a <strong>Tour</strong> Operations staffmember or the Supervisor by 4:00 p.m. tournament local time on theday before the start of the Qualifying Draw.B. WITHDRAWING FROM A TOURNAMENT1. Withdrawal RequirementsPLAYERSa. No withdrawal from a <strong>Tour</strong>nament will be effective unless the playersubmits the withdrawal in writing or via the PlayerZone to <strong>Tour</strong>32
