PLAYERSwritten notification to the Supervisor on site at the relevant<strong>Tour</strong>nament by the 12:00 noon tournament local time DoublesSign-In deadline, the day prior to the start of the Main Draw.If the player accepts the Wild Card and subsequently withdrawsafter the 12:00 noon tournament local time DoublesSign-In deadline, the day prior to the start of the Main Draw,she will be subject to a Late Withdrawal fine.iii.Wild Card Maximumc. ExceptionsExcept as otherwise set forth herein, the maximum number ofWild Cards a player may receive into a <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> doubles<strong>Tour</strong>nament (including Grand Slams) during a <strong>Tour</strong> Year is six(6), with a maximum of three (3) allowed in the Main Draw.It is the player’s responsibility to track the number of WildCards she has used. Players will forfeit any ranking pointsearned at <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>naments and Grand Slam events bythe acceptance of Wild Cards above this limit.<strong>The</strong> following exceptions apply to both singles and doubles WildCards where indicated:i. Top 10 Players may receive an unlimited number of Wild Cardnominations in singles and/or doubles. Any Doubles WildCard that a Top 10 Player receives with a non-Top 10 partnerunder the “Top 10 Wild Card Rule” for doubles will not counttowards the maximum number of Wild Cards the non-Top 10partner can receive in the year. This does not apply to playersunder the Age Eligibility Rule.ii.Players will forfeit any ranking points earned at <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong><strong>Tour</strong>naments and Grand Slam events by the acceptance ofWild Cards above this limit.iii. Players who have competed in <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>naments for 10<strong>Tour</strong> Years or more (not necessarily consecutively) will beallowed three (3) additional Wild Cards, either in Main Draw orin Qualifying, in both singles and doubles.iv.Any player who is a past singles champion of a Grand Slam orPremier <strong>WTA</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> Championship will be allowed an unlimited59
