PLAYERSopenings in the draw that day.(See Wild Cards – page 54).iii.Sign-In Procedures*(a)(b)(c)(d)Alternates’ Sign-In deadline is 30 minutes prior to thescheduled start of play for the day.An Alternate or Lucky Loser is not required to sign in oneday to be eligible as an Alternate/Lucky Loser anotherday. (This applies to singles and doubles Alternates andto Lucky Losers).An on-site Alternate is eligible to substitute for all 1stround matches and for 2nd round matches when theplayer or team has had a 1st round bye.The 1st Lucky Loser/on-site Alternate must be ready toplay within 15 minutes of being called for a match. If thefirst on-site Alternate fails to be ready to play within 15minutes, the next on-site Alternate must be ready to playwithin five (5) minutes of the time her match is called. Anysubsequent on-site Alternate must be ready to play withinfive (5) minutes of the time her match is called.Matches will not be held for Alternates still competing inanother ITF or WTA Tour Tournament. If an on-siteAlternate fails to show for a match, she will be considereda No Show.* The Acceptance Ranking determines the order of on-site Alternates.d. On-Site Draw Procedure for Administrative Error – PreliminaryMatchIf an administrative error has been made in a Tournament playeracceptance list and too many players have been accepted into theTournament, the following procedures will be followed:i. The last two (2) players accepted into the Tournament basedupon the most current updated entry list, regardless ofwhether the draw has been made (excluding Wild Cards,Qualifiers and Top 10 Players), will play a preliminary match forone (1) spot in the draw.48
