He hasministered in many churchesas an interim pastor andseminar leader, and he servesthe larger Christian communityas a ministry advisorand transitions coach.Cionca is also a prolificwriter. He has publishedarticles in more than threedozen periodicals, writtenfour books, co-authoredtwo books, and served ascompiler and editor of twoadditional works. Shewas awarded the <strong>Bethel</strong>Se<strong>minary</strong> Faculty ExcellenceAward in 1998, and the NewTeaching Excellence Awardby the College of HumanEcology at the <strong>University</strong>of Minnesota in 1993.
