Chapter 3A framework for learning REThe purpose of this chapter is to examine the theories of learning, the foundations on whichthey are built and the learning models that apply these theories. With Chapter 2 thisprovides the context for the research. This survey is not exhaustive, but tries to delineatethe aspects of learning theory and learning models that inform the research undertaken. Fromthis background, a framework for RE learning is developed.
