a model of organisational culture The research design must be placed within a contextualframework that reflects the culture of the organisation in which the study is undertaken.Since this study looks at the learning situation holistically, the model chosenis that developed by Rogers (2002). It acknowledges that effecting cognitive changethrough instructional design is based on the interaction of the participants of a learningenvironmenta model of reflection The researcher’s learning is a fundamental component of the ActionResearch undertaken. The model chosen, by Hatten (1997), examines the area ofcontinuing professional development.
