Military training which is clearly presented in transcriptform and has been clearly evaluated by the ACE is not part of the seventy-five (75)semester hours limit as described above, but will be accepted by the <strong>University</strong> ascollege credit.A.A. AND A.S. DEGREES MEETING ALL GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATIONLICENSURE STUDENTS EXCLUDED):If a student receives an A.A. (Associate in Arts) or an A.S. (Associate in Sciences) degree from aregionally accredited community college or junior college that is designed for transfer to a fouryearcollege or university, such as a university parallel program, and includes a minimum of 60hours earned, he/she may enter <strong>Victory</strong> <strong>University</strong> as a junior with general educationrequirements considered complete. An Associate of Applied Arts/Sciences is not applicable.The Institutional Core requirements must still be met in accordance with the <strong>University</strong>’scurrent policy. Education licensure students are excluded from this allowance.NOTE: Courses in the Institutional and/or General Education Core that are considered prerequisitecourses for major/minor course enrollment may still be required if that specific coursewas not originally part of the AA/AS degree.BIBLE COLLEGE CREDIT<strong>Victory</strong> <strong>University</strong> will accept credit from Bible College if the college is accredited by theAssociation for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE); otherwise, Bible College credit will beclassified as non-accredited and will be subject to these guidelines: 1) Transfer credits of up toseventy-five (75) semester hours may be accepted from non-accredited colleges and 2) Non-Accredited College Credit as described below.NON-TRADITIONAL CREDITNon-traditional credit types recognized by <strong>Victory</strong> <strong>University</strong> include:Continuing Education Units (CEU)Classroom-type corporate training and/or adult education that can be documented inregard to the number of clock hours spent in instruction and the successful completion.CEU hours, to be subject to approval at <strong>Victory</strong> <strong>University</strong>, must meet the followingcriteria:CEU hours at <strong>Victory</strong> <strong>University</strong> are defined as professional, formal, directed,conference type, evaluative training that clearly is distinguishable from merework experience, is successfully completed by the student, and is documented assuch by an original certificate submitted to the Registrar of <strong>Victory</strong> <strong>University</strong>.93
