The blocks, which show frequently hit by sever cyclonic storm
and cyclonic storm have been designated as highest hazard
prone area (very high hazard).
The blocks, which shows frequently hit by cyclonic storm have
been designated as high hazard prone area (high hazard).
The blocks that show frequently hit (more than 50 times during
the check period) by deep depression have been designated as
moderate hazard prone area (Moderate). The hazard is only due
to moderately high winds and heavy rainfall.
The depression covers almost 90% of the Indian subcontinent,
which bring rainfall during monsoon period. Thus such areas are
designated as no hazard zone.
