songwriter whose shows blend first-class musicianship with a
little teaching and a little theatre into a high-impact
transformative experience. Beth has been blazing a trail in
American Jewish music for 10 years. She has been a guitarist
since the age of 6 and attended the University of Miami School
special is her attention to the universal themes that not only
define Judaism, but many other faiths as well.
“Beth’s infectious energy, well-crafted songs and intelligent
lyrics coupled with a great band has made her a leading act in the
Jewish music world. Her audiences are no longer just Jewish, she
has many fans of all faiths who have found that her messages and
music touch them. It is her universality that placed her at centercourt
won her the faith-based competition on American Idol
Underground.
“Because she is comfortable playing both her acoustic guitars
natural, she has been the “guitarist-in-residence” for the Union
for Reform Judaism’s national conferences for the past 6 years.
She is frequently a featured artist at folk festivals and conferences
film Displaced! Miracle at St. Ottilien at 7:30 pm.The film is about a group
of displaced European Jewish refugees who were forgotten by the
victorious Allies after the war. These refugees were housed at an ancient
Benedictine monastery in Germany in conditions of illness, starvation and
misery that often equaled the concentration camps themselves. Disturbed
by what they saw, Edward Herman and his friend Bob Hillard, two young
American Jewish Army soldiers, set out to improve the survivors’ abysmal
living conditions. They managed to capture the ear of the American media,
the public and remarkably, President Harry Truman, himself. They
