Not only a caring practitioner, however, Dr. Knecht is also highly
credentialed in his field. Did you ever wonder what those initials
meant after some dentists names? Dr. Knecht is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Oral Implantology (D.A.B.O.I.) and a Fellow of
the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), both memberships
requiring him to pass national written and oral exams. He is also a
Fellow of the International College of Dentists (F.I.C.D.), which is
an exclusive invitation-only organization.
His list of prestigious affiliations doesn’t stop there. He is also
Past President of the South Palm Beach County Dental Association
and presently teaches implants to other dentists as the Co-
Chairman of the Atlantic Coast Research Clinic. He is also
involved in cancer research at the University of Florida in
Gainesville.

Among his patients is the director of the movie, “The Fast and
the Furious.” He also treats the voice of “Beast Boy” from Warner
Brothers’ Teen Titans, who comes in from California for his dentistry.
With other patients traveling from foreign countries to see
him, Dr. Knecht says he has “the best patients in the world.”
Maybe that’s because the office exudes a jovial atmosphere, where
people are treated like good neighbors. A family man and father of
four children himself, Dr. Knecht enjoys treating families.
Calling his practice a one-stop shop, his office offers implant surgery
and restorations, extractions, root canals, gum surgery and
Invisalign (for minor tooth movement). He performs a great deal
of surgery, implants and full mouth rehabilitation as well as miniimplants.
In his practice, Dr. Knecht has placed over 1,000
implants.
