Daily,the human beings are propounded by electrostatic charges fromthe atmosphere, which gets penetrated into the central nervoussystem, which gets super saturated. If not dissipated or discharged,these extra electrostatic charges may cause headache, neck ache,muscles spasms, etc. In doing sujud, the frontal lobe of the brain isput on the ground; the electrostatic charges are dissipated anddischarged. <strong>The</strong>n there is less chance of getting headache, spasms,aches, etc. Moreover, the thinking capacity of the brain lies in thefrontal lobe. <strong>The</strong> sujud allows extra blood supply to the brain, whichenables the brain to become healthier, and also has a positive effecton the memory, vision, hearing, concentration & the psyche. Inaddition, extra blood flows into the skin, neck and face, which isvery healthy especially in the cold seasons.In certain forms of yoga, some adherents stand on their heads toprovide increased blood flow to the brain, which we <strong>Muslims</strong> havebeen doing for centuries with sujud.During the sujud, there is drainage of the paranasal sinuses, thusthere is less chance of getting sinusitis. Moreover, someone whohas sinusitis, the sujud is a natural treatment. <strong>The</strong> sujud position isalso beneficial for a person suffering from bronchitis, which isinflammation in the lungs. <strong>The</strong> sujud position helps to clearsecretion of the bronchial tree, thus prevents bronchitis.
