1) Young Muslims - The Message

Before Islam, their disbelief had them standing at the edge of a pitof the Fire, but Allah saved them from it and delivered them tofaith. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) reminded theAnsar [from both Aws and Khazraj] of this bounty when he wasdividing the war booty of Hunayn. During that time, some Ansar didnot like the way the booty was divided, since they did not get whatthe others did, although that was what Allah directed His Prophet todo. The Messenger of Allah gave them a speech, in which he said:(O Ansar! Did I not find you misguided and Allah directed you toguidance because of me? Were you not divided beforehand andAllah united you around me? Were you not poor and Allah enrichedyou because of me?)Whenever the Prophet asked them a question, they would answer,"Indeed, Allah and His Messenger have granted us bounty.'' (SahihBukhari, Sahih Muslim)Brotherhood: Brotherhood among the believers is a prerequisitein Islam. (49:10) The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peaceand reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fearAllah, that you may receive Mercy.The lowest limit of brotherhood is to have an unblemished hearttowards you brothers and its zenith is to prefer him to yourself inprivilege. Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gives a beautifulanalogy of Ukhuah. He said: “Believers are like one body, if any ofits limbs feel pain, the whole body suffers in fever andsleeplessness.” (Sahih Muslim)Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) also said: “Whoever loves forAllah and dislikes for Allah, gives for Allah and withholds for Allah,indeed has perfected his faith.” (Jami at-Tirmithi, Abu Dawood))Young Muslims, What they should know about Islam Page - 60
