It often happens that peopleplaying videogames would hear the adhan but do not get up tooffer the salah because they are so much engrossed in the game.Allah (swt) says in the Qur’an in Surah al-Munafiqun:“O you who believe, your riches and your children must not divertyou from the remembrance of Allah. And those who do that are thelosers.” [63:09]These may even distract people from fulfilling their daily basicphysical needs. Very often, news reports are published about youngpeople who are so addicted to video game that they basically don’tgo to toilet or eat or sleep and thus end up killing themselves.Recently, a young boy killed his parents in China because theywanted him to stop playing addictive video games. Most of thesegames are violent in nature, after playing these for some time,people turn into animals who don’t hesitate to kill their ownparents (Nauzubillah).Q: What is Madhab?Madhab means opinion or way. There are four divisions of Madhabaccording to the names of four prominent Imam's opinion and waysin regard to the worship of Allah (SWT)- Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki, &Hambili. There was no existence of Madhab during the life time ofRasul (SW), These Madhabs emerged after four hundred years ofthe death of Rasul (SW).
