Jihad, when the need arises, isdeclared openly, while terrorism is committed secretly. Jihad isbound by strict rules of engagement while terrorism is not bound byany rules.Conclusion: It is clear from the foregoing discussion that Jihad is avast concept that encompasses various spheres of activity, alldirected towards the betterment of self and society. Regardless ofhow legitimate a cause may be, Islam does not condone the killingof innocent people.
