1) Young Muslims - The Message

The Prophet (Blessings and peace be upon him) said, “The strongperson is not who is able to physically overcome people. The (real)strong person is he who overcomes himself when he is angry.”(Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)Bukhari narrated a Hadith from Abu Hurairah (RA): a man said tothe Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him), Counsel me. Hesaid, “Do not get angry.” The man repeated (his request) severaltimes and the Prophet repeated, “Do not get angry.”Here are some advices for the young generation:1. Always tell the truth. Respect and obey your parents andteachers. Save yourselves from disobedience of your parents.Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him) said,“Remember, the satisfaction of parents is the satisfaction ofAllah and their dissatisfaction is Allah’s dissatisfaction.”(Altargheeb)2. Arrogance is the root cause of downfall. Therefore, saveyourselves from arrogance and pride and don’t become proud.Do not consider yourself greater than others. Rather, consideryourself inferior and lower compared to others.3. Forgiveness is a sign of greatness. So, forgive one another. Allahforgives those who forgive other people.4. Refrain from harming others, particularly Muslims. ProphetMuhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him) said, “The real Muslim is he from whose words anddeeds another Muslim is safe.” (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)5. Always fear Allah and make every effort to save yourselves fromHell-fire. One of the ways to be safe from the punishment ofHellfire is to give charity (to the poor).
