Prerequisite: B- or higher in Photography I
The second level of photography will build on skills learned in Photography I.
Unique and personal views will be further emphasized. Students will also be
introduced to new approaches such as double exposures, contact negatives,
solarization and hand coloring.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 855

In this course students will learn how to use a digital single lens reflex camera
(DSLR) to create engaging photographs that express their personal view of the
world. We will explore deeply the professional tool of Adobe Photoshop, and
learn how this “digital darkroom” can not only improve our photographs, but
also create a new sense of reality. The class will cover such topics as resolution,
