7-106 INTERACTIVE <strong>FAMILY</strong> HISTORIESThere are many references to a Burgess White who lived in Edgefield County,South Carolina which are very likely the husband of Mary (Brooks) White. The1790, 1810 and 1820 census records enumerate Burgess White in EdgefieldCounty, South Carolina. A will of Burgess White was signed on June 30, 1830and probated October 11, 1830 in Edgefield County, South Carolina. No childrenwere listed. The will mentions: Lucy Saunders (Burgess’ sister) andThomas Butler, son of John Butler (no relation given).
