Martha was born on August 28,1910 in Columbus, Georgia. On March 1, 1934, Martha Dimon married ThomasKing Peabody, Jr. in Columbus, Georgia but they were later divorced. On November17, 1939, Martha Dimon married Thomas Clarence Kendrick, Jr.Thomas was born on June 29, 1907 and is the son of Thomas ClarenceKendrick, a former Columbus High School principal. Thomas and MarthaKendrick were the parents of two children:............Thomas Clarence Kendrick, III, b. August 10, 1943............Charles Estes Dimon Kendrick, b. June 10, 1945Thomas Clarence Kendrick, Jr. was Vice President of Tom Huston Peanut Companywhen he died. Thomas died on December 23, 1950 in Columbus, Georgiaand was buried there in the Riverdale Cemetery. On November 19, 1952, Martha(Dimon) Kendrick married a third time to Shi Gray Holmes in Columbus,Georgia. Thomas Clarence Kendrick, III and Charles Estes Dimon Kendrick hadtheir last names changed to Kendrick-Holmes when Shi Holmes adopted them.Martha (Dimon) Holmes died on June 16, 1961 in Zebulon, Georgia.
