Both were buried in Columbus in theRiverdale Cemetery. Claude was born on October19, 1887 in Muscogee County, Georgia. On June 3, 1908, Claude Brooks marriedJohn A. Kelly in Muscogee County, Georgia. In 1919, Claude married asecond time to Dr. Adrian Hartog in Singapore. Adrian was born on May 27,1893 in Rotterdam, Netherlands and is the son of H. H. Hartog. Adrian Hartogwas an importer and served as Vice Consul and Consul General for the Netherlandsin California until he retired in 1961. Adrian Hartog was knighted by theQueen of the Netherlands.
