October 13, 1861, Stewart County, Georgia............Tommie Perkins, b. 1862, Stewart County, GeorgiaIn 1860, Thomas and Eliza Perkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia.Thomas W. Perkins was a farmer. Thomas W. Perkins was killed during theCivil War on June 27, 1862 at Cold Harbor, Virginia and has a marker in theProvidence Cemetery. Thomas served in Company E of the 31st Georgia Infantry.From 1870 to 1880, Eliza (Hammel) Perkins and her children were living inStewart County, Georgia. Eliza (Hammel) Perkins died on July 17, 1909. InDecember of 1872, Abner Perkins married Mattie E. Williamson. Mattie is thedaughter of Thomas G. Williamson and Frances (Sherman) Williamson. FrancesSherman’s sister, Cassandra, married Benjamin G. In 1890, Mattie (Williamson) Perkins marrieda second time to Jordan Williamson Slaughter (2.5.2). John Wright Perkins marriedOlive L. Middleton in Stewart County, Georgia. In 1880, John and OlivePerkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia. Charles Perkins married a MissHurley. Tommie Perkins married a Mr. McDaniel and they had two daughters:- Emma McDaniel, - Fannie Mae McDaniel.
