George was born in 1846 in Alabama andis the son of James Monroe Daniel and Mary Anna (Fendall) Daniel. George’sbrother, Thomas Daniel, married Elexie’s sister, Ella Brooks (2.3.3.7). In 1901, Elexie (Brooks)Daniel lived in Savannah, Georgia and she moved to Birmingham, Alabama in1903. Catherine Elexie (Brooks) Daniel died at the home of her daughter,Florida, on July 18, 1914 in Mulberry, Florida and was buried in the LinwoodCemetery in Columbus, Georgia.
