In 1850, Williamson andEliza Perkins were living in Talbot County, Georgia and they were the parents ofat least three children:............Mariah Jane Perkins (2.6.3.1), b. November 25, 1841, Talbot County, Georgia............James Wright Perkins, b. 1843, Talbot County, Georgia............Susan (Martha) Perkins, b. 1845, Talbot County, GeorgiaWilliamson and Eliza Perkins had a son who died in young manhood. In 1860,Williamson and Eliza Perkins were living in Stewart County, Georgia. WilliamsonPerkins was a farmer. Williamson Perkins was killed in the Battle ofGriswoldville during the Civil War and was buried in the Providence Cemeteryin Stewart County, Georgia. Eliza (Holtzclaw) Perkins died on April 15, 1867and was also buried in the Providence Cemetery.
