In October of 1989, Robert and Diane Casey moved to Austin, Texaswhere Robert became a Systems Engineer Manager marketing the IBM productline to the Austin area. On March 2, 1985, Robert Casey married Diane MarieThede in Dallas, Texas. Diane was born on August 7, 1957 in Battle Creek,Michigan and is the daughter of Kenneth Alfred Thede and Eleanor June(Santelman) Thede. Robert and Diane Casey are the parents of two sons:............Jordan Brooks Casey, b. May 20, 1987, Dallas, Texas............Bryan William Casey, b. May 26, 1989, Dallas, TexasDiane received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian Universityin 1980 and worked seven years in the advertising business. Diane’s lastposition was an account executive for the Anderson and Fischel advertisingagency. Since the birth of their son, Jordan, Diane has stayed at home to raisetheir sons. Robert is an active genealogist and is the co-author of this book.Robert and his father, Harold Casey, also compiled the book, “Casey <strong>Family</strong>History” which was published in 1980 and “Shelton, Wininger and Pace Families”in 1988. Robert and his mother, Bernice (Brooks) Casey, published thebook, “Brooks <strong>Family</strong> History,” in 1982.
