Lee was born on November 3, 1854 in Texas. In 1880,Lee was still living with his parents in Lavaca County, Texas. On January 28,1881, Lee Brooks married Georgiana Ballard in Lavaca County, Texas. Georgiawas born on July 4, 1861 in Alabama and is the daughter of Silas H. Ballard andMildred A. (Waller) Ballard. From 1887 to 1905, Lee and Georgia Brooks wereliving near Abilene in Taylor County, Texas. Lee and Georgia Brooks were theparents of at least six children:............Lonnie (Richard) Brooks, b.
