Test system for testing voltage and frequency protection relays and<br />
transducers. Tests Automatic Voltage Regulating (AVR) relays with line drop<br />
compensation, under and over voltage relays, directional over~current relays,<br />
df/dt (ROCOF) relays, vector surge (step change of phase) relays and check<br />
synchronising relay. Generates a 3ph voltage output from a 1ph supply,<br />
and may be used in conjunction with a current source to test directional<br />
protection. Requires 1ph 50/60Hz supply of 115V or 230V (±15%). Unit<br />
automatically selects the correct range. Max power requirement of the unit<br />
is 0.5kVA. DVS3-Hp has 3ph star connected output and the rating of each<br />
phase is:- voltage 0~133V phase to neutral, current 5min on/15min off 330mA<br />
@ 133V, or 200mA continuous, phase lock 45Hz~65Hz., variable frequency<br />
40~999.9Hz., variable phase angle ±180 O . Delta loads may be connected<br />
directly to the output or through the DVS-T VT box. Max voltage obtainable<br />
is 133V between any phase & neutral and 266V between 2 phases (if the<br />
phase angles of the 2 phases are set to 180 O apart). DVS-T VT box may be<br />
used to double these output voltage (Ratio 1:2).<br />

One main contact per phase. Three time channels are connected together<br />
on one side. Events at parallel contacts equipped with pre-insertion resistors<br />
are recorded and displayed simultaneously. Two separate time channels<br />
for measurement of auxiliary contacts. On-site hookup comes with readymade<br />
multi-cable sets for both main and auxiliary contacts. Coil currents<br />
are measured automatically, presented together with other readings<br />
immediately after testing on the display window or via the built-in printer. A<br />
built-in sequencer (program unit) sets the instrument automatically for the<br />
next sequential breaker operation. Intended primarily for measuring travel<br />
(motion). Can be equipped with an optional serial interface (RS232C) for<br />
communication with a pC and the CAbA Win breaker Analysis Software.<br />
