<strong>Instruction</strong> Manual pH 1100/ 21003.1.2 Starting pH calibration1. Turn the meter ON. If the meter is not in the pH measurementmode, press EXIT and press >/CAL to select pH/Temp. Themode selected will flash. See Figure 13. Press ENTER toconfirm selection. The meter is now in pH measurement mode.See Figure 14.2. Rinse the electrode in deionized water or rinse solution. If usingthe ATC function with a separate temperature probe, rinse thetemperature probe as well. Do not wipe the pH electrode ortemperature probe dry. Wiping the probes causes static, andwill create calibration and measurement instability.3. Select pH buffer and pour into a clean container.4. Dip the electrode and ATC probe into the calibration buffer. Theend of the probes must be completely immersed into thesample. Stir probes gently to create a homogeneous sample.5. Press >/CAL to enter the pH calibration mode. The displayflashes Cal Mode Activated, Please wait....See Figure 15.
