<strong>General</strong> <strong>Reference</strong> <strong>Guide</strong>Appendix10.7 Duplicate IP detection (User Led blinking Red)Since firmware 4.3, <strong>eWON</strong> performs a check on the IP network in order to avoid duplicate IP.<strong>eWON</strong> makes this test at power up to see if its IP address is not conflicting with another device.If <strong>eWON</strong> is configured with the same IP address than another device, <strong>eWON</strong> will not start and the USER LED blinks continuouslywith the following pattern:short red light + pause + long red light + pauseResolution:1) Isolate your <strong>eWON</strong> from the conflicting deviceThe best way is to use a direct crossed IP cable to directly link your PC with the <strong>eWON</strong> (without a hub)2) Reboot the <strong>eWON</strong>3) Change the <strong>eWON</strong> IP address (with eBuddy, you can download from http://www.ewon.biz Support/Download Software)When <strong>eWON</strong> is blocked, the duplicate IP test is made again every 10 minutes.
