Tests wereunderway by early 1976, and continuedduring the early development period from1976 to 1981. It allowed NASA to testconcepts relatively cheaply.• Under Criterion C, it is distinguished by itsdesign and engineering. The small windtunnel has been a workhorse at MSFC,due, in part, to the high quality of itsdesign.July 2008Archaeological Consultants, Inc.
