Inmost cases countries have historically underestimated the value of this knowledge andwisdom and are excluded from the formulation of public policies. However, a number ofnational and local processes have been initiated in an attempt to find a space fordialogue and harmonization of such knowledge and wisdom in the context of compliancewith certain international conventions and the demands of indigenous peoples.RecommendationsPromote better models of social and ethnic harmonization through education, legislation, political participation, public policy and other state actions.Take into account the knowledge and wisdom of IP in national and localplanning to build a common understanding of harmonization.
