Various methods <strong>of</strong>instruction, testing, and delivery will be discussed and practicedalong with utilizing sources <strong>of</strong> instructional materials and thelegal restrictions placed upon them.FIRE210 Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Basic Training(ARFF)Credits: 2Prerequisites: <strong>Student</strong>s must be physically able to secureSCBA’s, perform physically demanding tasks, and supplytheir own NFPA approved clothing.This course is aimed at providing students with the fundamentalknowledge and skills necessary to effectively handle an aircraftemergency in accordance to FAR 139. It will contribute to thestudent’s knowledge <strong>of</strong> basic fire fighting and rescue principles.FIRE215 Fire StreamsCredits: 2Prerequisite: FIRE130A fire fighter must be capable <strong>of</strong> understanding and calculatingwater hydraulics and fire stream flows in order to perform basicfire suppression duties as a member <strong>of</strong> a team.
