Here Dorofijovyc asks all clerics to love andrespect the virtuous book On the Priesthood and use its learning on behalfof the spiritual good of Rus' and the salvation of human souls.(6) The sixth viri is addressed not to John Chrysostom but to St. Basilthe Great, 99who also is presented as a fiery priestly orator and bishopannointed by God.
