Local Area 2: Keilor districtArea 2 comprises the small areas of Keilor Park and Keilor-Taylors Lakes (East).PopulationThe district housed approximately 11,214 residents in 2006. By 2021, thepopulation is expected to decrease by more than 300 people to <strong>10</strong>,913 (an averageannual rate of –0.18% per annum over 15 <strong>years</strong>).Although the district is expected to have an increase of over 200 householdsbetween 2006 and 2021, the average household size is expected to decline from2.91 to 2.69 residents, causing a fall in the district’s total population.The largest resident age group was 55–59 year olds in 2006, with 962 persons.
