However understanding of coralreef ecology is still limited amongst stakeholders and this is afoundation for understanding effective MP management. E.g.patchy staff involvement across the parks – although many staffinvolved in training and there was no involvement in training ofthe admin staff in Redang and on Tioman the front line personreceiving visitors at the MP centre was the only one to havecommunication training.Highly Satisfactory: Advocacy in the context of this project refersto the establishment and operationalising of formal mechanismsfor governance and information sharing.
