As themass of human interests can not be isolatedfrom the results discovered in the path ofadvancing science; so neither can any formof inquiry be separated from the conditionswhich are common to all intellectual life,including even the least cultivated. So ithappens that the race as a whole has a clearshare in all the products of science, such asit has not in the products of industry.
