Press and hold the remote control mono button until theMODE parameter opens on the front panel display as shownto the left.MODE: L – R2. Press and release the mono button to cycle through allavailable MODE parameter settings until the L – R monomode is selected as shown to the left.3. Press and release the front panel or remote control enterbutton to close the MODE parameter.• Otherwise, the MODE parameter automatically closes afew seconds after the last command is received. Using the L – R output signal, adjust the associated phonocartridge azimuth to achieve minimal output signal.• Playing a mono recording when L – R mono playback isactivated should result in silence (no output signal).Because phono cartridges differ, it is recommended toadjust azimuth to achieve minimal output signal.7. Press and release the mono button to cancel L – R monoplayback and return to stereo playback.
