Troubleshooting & Maintenance<strong>Mark</strong> <strong>Levinson</strong>No IR Learning 1. Eliminate obstructions between the learning remote controland the left side of the front panel display.2. Adjust the distance between the learning remote control andthe left side of the front panel display.3. Make sure the learning remote control and the left side of thefront panel display are not exposed to strong sunlight, halogenlight, or fluorescent light. This can cause IR reception tobecome unreliable.4. Make sure the learning remote control is configured to learncommands.5. Replace the learning remote control batteries.No Main Output 1. Examine audio cables to ensure a solid connection between theNº 320S and associated components.2. Make sure master volume is set to an audible level.3. Make sure mute is deactivated.4. Make sure the Offset parameter for the selected input is notreducing master volume to an inaudible level.5-25. Make sure the Nº 320S main output connectors are connectedto an operational power amplifier, and that the associatedpower amplifier is connected to operational loudspeakers.6. Make sure all associated components are powered on andconnected to electrical outlets.7. Make sure the associated component connected to the selectedinput is producing an input signal.No Record Output 1. Make sure the Rec.Out parameter for the selected input hasbeen used to assign the selected input for a record outputconnector.2. Make sure the associated component connected to the selectedinput is producing an input signal.Audible Hum 1. If a cable TV connection is present, disconnect the cable fromthe wall outlet. If this eliminates the humming sound, a groundloop isolation device is required. Contact an authorized <strong>Mark</strong><strong>Levinson</strong> dealer for assistance.2. Disconnect components one at a time to isolate the problem.Once the problem is identified, make sure the problematiccomponent is properly grounded and connected to the sameelectrical circuit as the Nº 320S.
