GENERATOR KW—0.8 x total electric name plate horsepower.B. GENERATOR KW—2 x name plate horsepower of the largestelectric motor with across-the-line starter.C. GENERATOR KW—1.5 x name plate horsepower of thelargest electric motor with reduced voltage starting (with 80percent starting voltage).D. GENERATOR KW—2.25 x name plate horsepower of thelargest electric motor with part winding starting.For across-the-line starting, use the larger of the two valuesdetermined from A and B.For reduced voltage starting, use the larger of the two valuesdetermined from A and C.For part winding starting, use the larger of the two values determinedfrom A and D.For combinations of the above starting types, use the largestvalue determined from A, B, C, and D as they apply.209
