What is NWO<br />
TeachOhio?<br />
A grant sponsored by the Ohio Department of<br />
Education to increase the pool of highly qualified science<br />
and mathematics teachers in northwest Ohio through<br />
alternative licensure.<br />

• Commit to teaching in an identified Ohio<br />
district for three years (2006–2009).<br />
• From 2006 to 2008 teach middle school or<br />
high school with an alternative license and<br />
then transfer to a provisional license for the<br />
2008–2009 school year.
