Hiranyakasipu did tapasya, it was for thedestruction of the world and oppression ofthe virtuous etc. and hence it was based onTamoguna. That is why they all came to abad end. Thus <strong>Gita</strong> is a unique text whichwill be interesting even for the people ofmodern age including those of the otherWestern countries too.
