To assess MTCTknowledge, respondents were asked if HIV can be transmitted from a mother to a child throughbreastfeeding, and whether a mother with HIV can reduce the risk of transmission to the baby by takingcertain drugs during pregnancy.188 | HIV/AIDS-Related Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviour
