3.6 OCCUPATIONRespondents who were currently employed were asked to state their occupation, and the resultsare presented in Tables 3.6.1 to 3.6.3. There are six occupational categories under which those currentlyemployed are classified. They are: professional, technical, and managerial; clerical; sales and services;skilled manual; unskilled manual; and agricultural. The vast majority of currently employed women workin sales and services (56 percent).
