As in the case of younger respondents, radio is the most popular media (60 percent ofwomen and 77 percent of men). Overall, only 9 percent of women and 14 percent of men age 50 and olderhave access to all three types of media. In addition, 35 percent of women and 20 percent of men age 50and older have no contact with any media at any time of the week.Characteristics of Respondents | 37
The pattern of exposure to mass media for older adults is similar to that of younger women andmen, except there is no clear pattern by age. Women and men who live in urban areas and those who livein Hhohho and Manzini are more likely to be exposed to mass media than other respondents.
