Michael Lip is both an Architect and Landscape Architect by training. He obtained his Diploma in Technology
in Architecture from the University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia and Master of Arts in Landscape
Architecture from University of Sheffield, England.
In 1983, Michael teamed with Nik Malik Zainal Abidin to form Malik Lip & Associates (MLA). Today, MLA is a
leading landscape architecture consultancy in Malaysia with a staff force of 60 including several qualified landscape
architects. With their mission of providing clients with design excellence and value added services, MLA
have successfully completed numerous projects including award winning ones in Malaysia and abroad.
