PREMIO INTERNAZIONALE TORSANLORENZO 2009 PROGETTO E TUTELA D E L PAESAGGIO 15 La progettazione paesaggistica nella trasformazione del territorio, la cultura del verde urbano, le architetture di giardini e parchi: sono questi i tre ambiti del Premio Internazionale Torsanlorenzo – Progetto e tutela del paesaggio, l’iniziativa che dal 2003 accoglie progetti provenienti da tutto il mondo ponendoli a confronto in un concorso che fra gli addetti ai lavori si è guadagnato rapidamente credito e stima ritagliandosi un autorevole spazio fra le manifestazioni del settore. I progetti pervenuti per l’edizione 2009 sono stati valutati da una giuria internazionale altamente qualificata, come sempre espressione delle categorie professionali impegnate nella progettazione e riqualificazione del paesaggio. Nelle proposte progettuali sono emersi metodi qualificati e nuove vie progettuali per il verde nelle città o nei territori suburbani che valorizzano quartieri, piazze, parchi ma anche quelle nicchie di verde, spesso oasi curate nei dettagli, rappresentate da molti giardini privati che contribuiscono ad un’estetica del paesaggio sempre più ricca e pregiata. Far emergere gli spazi attraverso inusuali disegni di verde, rielaborare le architetture di giardini e parchi perché diventino luoghi da scoprire e gustare introducendovi cromatismi di colore soppesati e ricercati nelle sfumature, realizzati pensando a specie diverse e messi a dimora per scolpire zone e sentieri altrimenti inesistenti: un professionista che pensa il paesaggio in modo nuovo realizza scenari inediti valorizzando al meglio quegli strumenti, in qualche modo architettonici e d’arredo, che la stessa natura mette a disposizione. Parlare di un verde di qualità significa dar spazio alla creatività e valorizzare l’estetica ma anche pronunciarsi su sicurezza e protezione ambientale, diminuzione di costi di gestione e manutenzione sempre ottimizzati da un’alta qualità degli interventi progettuali. Nelle tavole pervenute è presente un alto livello di progettazione ma anche l’attenzione ad accostare all’ingegno e all’inventiva un concreto intento di valorizzazione armonica, riqualificazione e recupero del territorio e dell’ambiente. Ogni elemento del verde diviene una sorta di matita e di colore per disegnare spazi e forme inedite che appaiono dall’accostamento di specie vegetali diverse rivelate dall’avvicendamento delle stagioni. Dunque anche quest’anno, come tradizione nel primo sabato di maggio, Torsanlorenzo Gruppo Florovivaistico diviene il luogo di una cultura condivisa in cui molte delle best practices internazionali divengono patrimonio di conoscenza comune. Il 9 maggio 2009, in definitiva, costituisce una nuova occasione dedicata agli addetti ai lavori del vivaismo, del verde pubblico e del paesaggio per confrontarsi, ascoltarsi, conoscersi nello spirito di un evento che sta scrivendo, anno dopo anno, una sua piccola storia. Landscape design towards transformation of the territory, the culture of urban green, the design of private gardens and parks: these are the three fields of the Torsanlorenzo International Prize – Landscape design and protection, the initiative which, from 2003, has welcomed projects from all over the world in a competition which has rapidly gained reputation and esteem amongst in the world of nurseryman, having an authoritative space in the sector. The projects which reached the 2009 edition were judged by a highly qualified international Jury. As always this is the expression of the professional commitments by those working in the enhancement of landscape design. In the proposed designs we find valid methods and innovative projects for the development of urban and suburban green spaces which give value to wards, squares, parks but also those green oasis, displaying attention to details. Enhancement open spaces through unusual designs, rethinking private gardens and parks making them places to be discovered and savoured, introducing colour chromatics and nuances, realised by using different species and giving shape to zones and paths otherwise inexistent: a professional who thinks about landscape in a new way realises new settings giving value to those items, in a way architectural and of landscape, that nature itself places at our disposal. Talking of quality green spaces is giving way to creativity and value to aesthetics but also exploring security and environmental protection, reduction of expenses and optimization of maintenance from high quality design and interventions. The projects presented demonstrate a high level of designing skills as well as inventiveness, attention to detail providing a concrete contribution to harmonic value in restructuring and retrieval of the land and the environment. Each element of the environment becomes a kind of coloured pencil to draw spaces and new shapes which appear from the association of different plant species derived from seasonal cycles. May 9 rd 2009 is definitively a new occasion the world of nurseryman, public green spaces and landscape to associate, listen to and know each other in the spirit of an event which is writing, year after year, its little story.
