Viktor G. Kim (leader)
was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1955. Graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic University (Russia) majoring
in construction engineering and environment protection and restoration. Participated in architect and construction
works of Ust-Ilimskaya and Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power stations (Russia), the Chimbulak
ski resort, Soviet Ministry Hospital and Sports Entertainment Center in Almaty (Kazakhstan). Today prefer to
deal with the landscape architecture, environment restoration and recovery – from planning to implementation.
Member of the Union of Architects of Kazakhstan.
Viktor A. Kim
was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1955. Graduated from the faculty of architecture in Kazakhstan Polytechnic
Institute. Participated in the development of the following designs: build-up of health resorts in Kazakhstan;
residential and public building in Almaty; restoration and re-qualification of the historical-preservation area
called “the Khodji Akhmed Yassavi complex”, which is under the UNESCO tutelage.
Since 1991 he has lead a private workshop of architects, where the following designs have been carried out
under his leadership: town-planning concept for the satellite-town of Almaty; town-houses; private villas, residential
buildings, restaurants, clubs, theaters, trade centers. Professor at the Major Building and Architecture
Academy of Kazakhstan. PHD for architecture, member of the Union of Architects of Kazakhstan, prize-winner
of the exhibition contest of best architectural works in the years 2003-2006 in Kazakhstan.

Yerbolat N. Mukanov
was born in Uralsk, Kazakhstan in 1981. In 1999 graduated from the Republican Colledge of Arts in Almaty.
Painting master. 2004 graduated from the Architecture & Building Academy of the State of Kazakhstan in
Almaty. Master of architecture. Town-planning architect. In 2004-2007 was in charge of leading architect for
the building company Silk-Way Construction, in Almaty. Competitor in architectural exhibitions and contests.
