Luigina Giordani graduated in Agricultural Science in 1977; the following year she was awarded the “Achille<br />
Grimaldi” prize by the Faculty Board of Perugia University for the best graduate in Agricultural Science.<br />
In 1998 she completed her postgraduate degree in “Parks, Gardens and Green Areas” at the University of Torino.<br />
In 2002 she got top marks in her specialization degree.<br />
She teaches agricultural ecology, entomology and plant pathology in Agricultural school, and she also teaches<br />
in various post-graduate and training courses dealing with the planning of green areas and their maintenance.<br />
She is a professional Agronomist and a member of the AIAPP (Association of Italian Landscape architects), and<br />
her work covers the planning of green areas both public and private: ranging from parks to small gardens, roof<br />
gardens, gardens in residential and industrial areas, as well as landscape studies. She works in collaboration<br />
with other professionals taking an interdisciplinary attitude to every project, she follows every phase and subsequent<br />
work.<br />
When drawing up her plans she always takes into consideration the place, the surrounding landscape and, of<br />
course, the wishes of her client.<br />
Veronica Compagnoni Floriani developed her great interest in landscape architecture following a period of<br />
study in the UK in 1998 and again in Ireland in the year 2000.<br />
In 2001 she obtained her diploma from Agricultural school and immediately began her course in the faculty of<br />
Garden and Landscape Architecture at “La Sapienza” University of Rome.<br />
In winter 2002 she took part in the public competition organized by the Conservatoire International des Parcs<br />
et Jardins et du Paysage, Chaumont-sur-Loire.<br />
In 2003 she took part in an internship in cultivation techniques in a nursery in Tuscany.<br />
Following this she attended the course “Planning Green Areas” organized by the European Social Fund, which<br />
included an internship in a nursery in the Marche; at the completion of which she was awarded top marks.<br />
Since 1997 until now she has been in charge of conservation and maintenance of her family's garden, which is<br />
of historical interest.<br />
