HJORDI BELLMUNT I CHIVA. Architect
Born in Barcelona in 1954, graduated in Architecture at ETSAB (UPC), “Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura”
of Barcelona, since 1982 is professor at the Department of Urbanisme and Landscape Planning ETSAB.
Since 1987 is professor at the Master of Landscape Architecture, UPC (Politecnic University of Catalonia) and
director since 2000.
From 1997 is subdirector at ETSAB and from 2000 to 2006 is responsible for the “Landscape Architecture
Degree” of UPC.
Belong to the scientific committee of specialized reviews: Paisajismo, Architettura del Paesaggio and Paisea.
Member of the scientific committee for EURAU’08 (European Congress for Arquictectural and Urban research).
Organizer from 1999 of the five editions of the European Biennial of Landscape of Barcelona.
Councillor for the city of Barcelona (Nature Committee Montjuïc).
Steering commettee Member of the Observatory for Catalonia Landscape
Visiting professor in several Universities and Cultural Forums all over Europe.
In 1992 found the BiA architecture and landscape studio in Barcelona, in association with architect Xavier Andreu.
Expose and publish his works on specialized reviews.

XAVIER ANDREU. Architect
Born in Barcelona in 1963, graduated in 1991 in Architecture at ETSAB (UPC), “Escuela Tecnica Superior de
Arquitectura” of Barcelona.
IIn 1992 found the BiA architecture and landscape studio in Barcelona, in association with architect Jordi
Bellmunt i Chiva.
From 1994 to 1997, is member for the Landscape Resarch Center (CRPP) of the Urbanism and Landscape
Planning Departiment at ETSAB.
In 1996 Professor for the Course of Landscape and Environmental Impact.
Since 1997 work as architect for the municipality of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres (Barcelona).
