It goes without saying that you should never
allow yourself to be caught “pants down” in
Condition White. Even while sleeping, your
subconscious mind is still functioning; just make
certain that it knows what’s “home” and what’s
“strange.” Remember: “A simple plan, wellrehearsed
and violently executed, offers the best
chance for success.” 69 I just love the violently
executed phrase. It goes well with what Napoleon
spoke of regarding the concept of speed: “I may
lose a battle, but I will never lose a minute.”
Thus far within this book, we’ve discussed
the imperative to fight, the power of faith in
combat and survival, the need for conditioning
yourself both mentally and physically – even to the
point of developing something of the ‘ancient
ninja’ within your life. We examined your learning
habits, how to improve them, and a bit about our
various terrorist enemies and their supporters. We
delved into knowing as much about the physical
and social world around us and presented a case
for learning the languages of the world. Most
importantly, we just finished discussing the need
to ‘walk the walk’ instead of merely stating that we
wish to do something to protect ourselves and our
loved ones.
Unfortunately, there may come a point
within your life when all of the preventive
planning in the world fails and you find yourself
face-to-face with a “do or die” situation. Herein
you will discover once and for all whether you have
what it takes to take another’s life (or at least
