and I looked absolutely sickening, I might add –
when I relied mostly upon fast food for my diet but
that lasted less than six months and I descended to
my present average of 154 pounds which I’ve
maintained for seven years since. I say this to show
how easy it is to keep weight off with a tolerable
diet.
I still eat cheeseburgers, pizza, drink regular
pop, scarf down brownies, cheesecake, and just
about everything else that I ate during my youth.
The difference is, is that I take things in
moderation. My two cheeseburgers consumed
during dinner might be the only meal I’ve had
since scrambled eggs during breakfast. If I have
don’t really like just to keep food within my
stomach. I can, without effort, go three days on a
bowl of rice or twenty-four hours without any food
intake and still maintain my level of activity. The
trick is knowing the timing of your consumption of
food.
If my last meal is, say, at 6 P.M., I can go
until noon without worrying about food. However,
if I have a late snack – such as a bowl of healthy
cereal – I’ll wake up in the middle of the night
feeling as if my stomach is missing. If you don’t
stretch out your stomach unnecessarily, you’ll be
