Our 2- and 4-cylinder semi-hermetic and open type compressor are the result of over 30 years extensive
manufacturing experience in the field of compressors for refrigeration. A truly amazing feature is the silent
operation of our compressors, which is achieved by a precision machining and a special way of balancing.
If a Soft-Starter is taken, the motor could be started direct in a wide range and there has to be no more
�/Y-start in addition with starting aid. With this the installation is made easier, the costs will be reduced and the
drive is treated.
We recommend the use of an automatic electric heater for the housing which maintains the oil and housing
temperature at +77°F to +96 °F (+25°C to +35°C) during standstill, thus preventing oil hammers. This
thermostatically controlled heater which we supply at additional costs, needs only be inserted into a tapped blind
hole in the bottom plate, it has no contact with the refrigerant. The 2-cylinder compressors are equipped with an
oil splasher and the 4-cylinder models (form type H/O 34 on) with an oilpump.

The condensing units are filled with a protective gas charge in the factory and are ready for installation.
